I’ve noticed it quite a lot, I just bought the 2nd gen of the pros after having the 1st gen, I put myself in the same scenario, both being just as loud, and with the same size tips, and they both cancelled the same amount of noise, which btw, wasn’t much🤦🏽 so ya, I hope they update this soon cuz I feel like I’m not getting my moneys worth

I can also say with the new iOS 16.1 update that connectivity with my Air Pod Max is horrible… If I move my head while listening to a song the headphones will disconnect and it’s just a bad headache to reconnect them

Probably A new virson of airpod max is going to be released

Just a wild guess but…. When the new one comes and people compare old and new, it would seem like the new one has better noise cancellation but in fact they are same thing
Well this would be possible if anyone didn’t notice the noise cancellation in the update, I guess the new airpod max won’t be releasing any sooner
