The worst headphone for gaming imo is the sen hd 6xx, they sound too flat and veiled along with a softer presentation for gaming. If you want that boom punch and dynamic kick, the lcd x 2021 and hifiman arya would destroy hd6xx out the water and the hd700 balanced is no sleeper it can absolutely be stunning for games like dark souls and stuff. Hifiman arya stealth is good for cod because there is so many sounds coming from everywhere and u can get so much detail and transparency, but the lcd x 2021 is the most fun headset with the most kick out of them all it just breathes angelic qualities of sound in gaming.

sennheiser hd 599se that’s plugged into my behringer umc22 that also hosts my samson q2u mic. the only reason i have my headphones in my interface is cuz of sennheiser’s dumbfuck decision to make the long cable terminate into a quarter jack… yeah. luckily the interface doesn’t seem to hurt the sound at all and the hd 599 will probably be my endgame headphone unless i get stupid rich

Rocking the X2HR which I got on a sale for under 100 bucks, they are great headphones but I from time to time feel the reccesed mids which they have but they are extremely comfortable and the open back nature of them made me swear off any closed back type of headphone. Planning as an upgrade to either pick the Zeus or instead something which has the best mids, Sennheisers seems to be the direction in that case but I mostly game so I want something with a soundstage which can be bigger

FiiO k9 pro as DAC with Jotunheim and Eufonika Tube Amp. HD800S, HD6XX, Dunu 6S Ultra and Meze 109 Pro. Looking to upgrade my DAC and get a pair of Atrium at some point!

Currently swapping back and forth between the DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm on an Asgard 3, and the 6XX on a Valhalla 2. Both are connected to a Modius. Either the Asgard 3 is very tubelike, or the Valhalla 2 is very solid state like or both. It’s very hard to tell the difference between the two. One thing is for sure though, it all sounds very good!

Hifiman XS with ifi zen can/zen dac stack. Unbalanced for now because cables be expensive. Sometimes I switch between then XS and HD 6XX

I’ve got a fiio btr7(because of its flexibility) which use via USB, and I’m running sundaras and dt1990s with it. Saving up for a k9 at the moment so I can start looking into some more power hungry headphones.
