Great video, I really like the sound of my TMA-1 headphones but they’re pretty uncomfortable out of the box, kinda wish I had waited for their modular configs to get a softer headband (instead of having to line my headband with memory foam and yarn).

Would it be interesting if there was a site that provided “benchmarks” on headphone ergonomics? So, numbers like, clamping force vs head width, for each size setting on the headphone. Maybe another measurement saying how far your ears should be from the top of your head for each size setting (although head width also factors into that). Could also describe how soft the padding is by measuring force vs deflection when you push a small ball (finger-diameter) into it. Also need to check they have enough tilt and swivel to accommodate various head shapes. Kinda wish I could adjust my headphone’s clamping force until it was just tight enough to create a decent seal around my ears, then have the band take the rest of the weight.
