This was done by lapping, the same process was used to facet diamonds so it’s a pretty old method

Why do these pseudo smart people think that we are the pinnacle of intelligence? The brain hasn’t changed. The technology has changed. The people were as smart but what they had to work with was not. They did great work but don’t kid yourself in following the conspiracy of them being so intelligent but modest that they decided not to show up future generations and got rid of all evidence of their machinery.

Any machinist will tell you how mind blowing and nearly impossible this would have been back in the day, we would have a hard time achieving this level of Precision with today’s tools

Hi, I’m an ancient human whose life is absolutely shit. The only way I have to do anything is by walking. It is literally a whole day of my life to go shopping at the market, 2 miles down the road from my domicile. To scrape together a meager living, I’ve adopted stone work as my preferred trade. I don’t have a fancy phone, tv, radio, or even books to occupy my time. So to make my days more entertaining than staring at my wife and children all day, we take turns machining our products by hand to meet the needs of our discerning customers.
Well it keeps the kids fucking quiet all day and tires them out for bed at sun down. Don’t want the night demons to get them.

I’ve looked into so much of these claims of Egyptian people.
It’s not so true.
Yes the precision they build some things to is amazing, but not in human.
The pyramids are not perfect designs that are mathematically correct. These pots weren’t built by any machine we are thinking about rn, it’s just that humans are THE goat when it comes to adaptation and ingenuity, and the Egyptian people were genuinely intelligent.

But they weren’t advanced to the level we think.

If its in thousands of an inch between points yeah it HAS to be machine made, it just isn’t possible to be that accurate by hand, you can’t hold it with anything that won’t wiggle unless it’s a machine weighing thousands of pounds and even then it wiggles (why it varies from thousandths). That’s pretty insane they mightve lived different but they had machines

I do machining for a living to maintain .001 to .003 tolerance in granite is mind blowing and 100 perceny done by machine of some type and not done by hand…
