It was spun…….it’s impressive, but not impossible.
I’m not educated on this subject but wouldn’t the Egyptians record this somewhere? like if this was a big deal to them and they were proud of it, I would imagine they would record making these vases and how they did it and even if this was common place for them, what ever technique or technology they used should be recorded somewhere unless they didn’t really see a need or didn’t want to divert recording resources from something more important going on then. idk though so if anyone is more informed I would love some references and to learn a little more or any theories ppl might have
So where are all the machines from this era?
This dude is fucking nuts
How does a expertly made how based on a modern lathe compare? Seems like it would be similarly precise
Chumlee!
This guy talked to to much I couldn’t watch the reel I was like WTF get to the point MF but my patience ran out.
Note book paper is .003 not .0075 😃
It pains me to hear a fellow Aussie use the American pronunciation of “vase”. Love the content though.
I believe all of this is explainable if you were to find some evidence of the Egyptian’s using bronzes tapered bearings. If they were able to produce axys that are fairly precise you could build a simple rotary surface grinder. You don’t need steel, you could just spin a round grinding stone at a slow speed, with low forces, letting the grinding stone do the work. Surface grinders are extremely precise and also simple.
Bronze bushings have been used as bearings for thousands of years, and are still in use today, only in the last hundred years have hardened steel rolled bearings really taken over.
None of this is to take credit away from Egyptian’s. The fact that anyone had the luxury and care to make a vause nearly perfect in every way is astounding. Look around us, our modern inaccuracies that surround us are measured in inches, not thousandths of inches. My vause is from Ikea, and its visibly and almost annoyingly crooked 🤣
I didn’t understand a thing he explained except the perfectly flat part so I guess he’s right about what he was trying to say about some dinosaurs flat rose in a kings chamber with some machine’s mouth or something vase yeah
Oh god, another one of Rogan’s conspiracy clowns with zero training in the field he’s talking about. This guy is some computer whiz but my neighbor’s cat knows more about archaeology. There is no Arlantis and he’s full of crap. So is Graham Hancock and there is no bondo ape.
There has never been any doubt in my mind that we are not the first creatures with the ability to create things.
If people would take the time and really observe termite mounds, wasp and beehives, burrow complexes, beaver dams, elaborate nests of birds, and webs of spiders.
Research the tribe of the Dogon.
There’s no mystery in question to these Beings’ intellect.
The question is who are they and where are they. And moreover who created them. And then who created them. And once again who created them.
I must stop now my brain is hurting.
The word “perfect” has lost all meaning.
Thanks a lot
WHAT EPISODE IS THIS?
The circularity is the most impressive part
Nothing is new under the sun. They had laser c.n.c machines
They knew this since the 90s. If you send vibrations through, they’ll resonate like a vinyl record.
“They had to been made in a machine” or not 🤷🏻♂️
“The X axis is now your Y axis” 😂
