Unequivocal proof that there was an advanced civilization that has been entirely lost (or perhaps purposefully erased) from history.
Lol. They are blown away by the people who did math and building shit for a living.
Of course they had foot pedal machines to spin the clay
Chumlee is British? DAFUUUUUUUUUQ?
This vase is closer to perfect than any machine we built can build something. Every industry has tolerances for building and the most strict are structures that will be used by people. Those structures are allowed more tolerance for imperfection than this case has.
Every design for a platform , stairs , stacks , storage containers we built in the oil industry would come with a +/- of 2 mm for tolerance on the blueprints.
A laser level and gps surveying can be out by more than 3 thousandths of an inch.
Unless you’ve actually built something with your hands for work you can’t understand how hard this process would be .
I question this highly.
Chum Lee anybody ?
Chum Tea
Folks it’s not clay. The vase was once a solid granite rock.
These guys think too much of little things 😂
Men took pride in their work back then.
I like when he says “perfectly perpendicular” in his accent lol
Episode?
Dudes using a bunch of .75 cent words to sell the concept so people will buy his book. We are creating space lasers, and manipulating climate… regardless of what the Egyptians knew, and how they did it we have far surpassed the need to know how or why they did what they did.
Why does chumlee have an Australian accent
I make things for a living and with enough time you can make things more perfect than a machine ever could. Machines just make things faster. Egyptians had more time than we did, no pressures of capitalism
“Perfect level bitch”
Lambs to the cosmic slaughter!!!!!!!
People today hand make stuff that he would say is machine made… there’s tons of marvels from history that show how ingenious humans can be and how precise they can be. Roman aqueducts? Greek construction? Aztec pyramids? All should not have been possible without machining tools according to this guy.
It’s CHUM LEE
These are not clay pots. They are made from solid granite. Try finding a 100lb chunk of granite, then try carving one of these by hand with soft copper or bronze chisels. Let’s see if you get the same tolerances.
