Ok, but the usb c cable is way too short to plug on wall as it will just lay on the floor. It annoys me so much that the charging cable is the lenght of my hand. It’s so useless to charge the headphones but useful for using it with a portable battery to charge your phone on the go. I’ll be using my mouse/keyboard cable to charge my wh-1000mx5 on the wall.

Still XM3 is the best, hands down👍👍👍. I just wish that they will not ruin XM3 with updates, like it was once upon a time with Apple iphone

Sony was kind enough to include a cable even though they know a lot of people will probably use it wirelessly (because you know how sometimes people will criticize companies for not being generous onn giveaways), and what do you do? You did the monkey thing. ✌️🇵🇭

I’ve been wondering the question of heavy headphones, and if I look down on my camera gear or pickup my bag, tie my shoes, my xm4’s fall out my ears. As do the airpods pro etc. So now testing out the airpods max, I’m actually noticing something weird, for the first time ever headphones are not falling off my head when I look down or do weird things like yoga.

Initial reviews are great, but go look at the Amazon reviews for all the most popular high-end noise cancellation headphones, it’s 3 months out when all these expensive headphones like the fail, they don’t get firmware updates, they don’t get feature updates, they just get a new version later that you will be expected to spend a lot of money on

Sony managed to pack in many cool features inside this headphone but still didn’t improve their crappy tuning in WH line up which literally is nothing but bass.

After watching many reviews of these epic headphones, this is a video clearly showing user challenges because someone didn’t bother to put in the time to give a rich review. Leave the bose alone, it would be sad to also butcher those.

I have the Xm4 and the 5s. Honestly after a week the new style hasn’t grown on me, the 5s feel kinda cheap. I keep them in the case because of this. My 4s are like a tank, I just chuck them in my bag. Because they fold in all the common breaking points, I’ve abused these headphone over the last 2 years. I should have just rebought the old ones. It’s not a noticeable upgrade honestly, I will say though there are a few good points. They are much lighter, the cups don’t pinch the top of my ears at all (my actual favorite thing about the 5s). They kinda clamp but not enough to hurt because they are so light weight.

I’m a headphone fanatic, noise-cancelling addict. I’ve been rocking AirPod Pro’s and decided to jump into the new XM-5’s -largely because of Flossy Carter’s rare “quad major go”, but after three days with them, I have to said that the noise cancelling isn’t nearly as good as the Air Pods. I have The noise cancelling on max setting, good ear cup seal, and I hear running water and people talking quietly next to me. With my Air Pods, I can hear nothing but music. Okay, the good, the sound quality is decent. You know, not booming bass, but balanced-ESPECIALLY when used with EQE or even Sony’s watered down EQ app. The battery life has been very good-I get about 30 hours and the touch controls are solid. Also. Yesterday, I was on Main Street with racing, noisy after market exhaust, blasting stereos and I made a call. The caller had no idea. She thought I was sitting in a quiet office. That’s a very amazing thing. I mean, I do like these headphones very much. The build is light, but sturdy, they charge HELLA fast. I had 60 percent and plugged in for15 minutes and got up to 90%. Is it worth $421? No, I think the Xm-3’s would have worked just as well. Am I returning these? No, don’t want to hassle and I do like them, but if you’re looking to buy, I’d wait for a sale or go with a lower model and if you are okay with 6 hour battery life, go with AirPod Pros or for $400, get two pairs of AirPod pros. These Sony cans are good for the office, but you can’t wear them in 80 degrees weather and you certainly cannot jog with them.

MX3 owner myself. Two problems in my eyes.
1. Headphones don’t fold down small enough anymore.
2. The leather type texture is really bad for the longevity of the headphones because if you actually use the headphones as frequently as you should if you want to take advantage of the product before the next product cycle. It can not be replaced.
