Tried the xm4s but the sound quality was very muffled even after tweaking the eq for a bit hope these sound better

Speak-to-chat is a real non-feature for me. On my xm4 earbuds it triggers at the slightest noise I make. Including clearing my throat.

I am kinda concerned about the quality of a review this video is. As a big fan of Linus since years ago, please do not take this review seriously. It is poorly reviewed, it uses constant jokes to relief it and for a buyer trying to make a choice, this video will not help whatsoever.

full video and 10 seconds of it is the…sound quality. People became so stupid lately when review headphones, well, we buy them to hear music (surprise!) and sound is the FIRST, and almost only thing matter. We don’t buy them to make phone calls, or cancel noise.
But this is the narrative now, the noise cancallation, and they all follow it like monkeys.

Loved the WH H900n’s I’ve been using for a number of years now but they’re finally on their way out with the noise cancelling crawling into the grave recently and the occasional shutting off. Looking forward to upgrading to these but I hope the earpads are more durable than I’ve experienced; at least they’ve been easy to replace.

Linus…. This was the least informative video on Earth. Also, what it was doing when you pressed the ear cup was activating quick attention mode… It’s called that for a reason, there is no action for a quick single touch, imagine how much annoyance there would be if you just wanted to adjust the headset or accidentally touched it and it started doing crap..

Double press is play/pause, press (touch) and hold is QAM.

Also, you said their not detailed or accurate… I’m guessing you didn’t have HD codec enabled or else your phone/tablet didn’t have LDAC capability..

This video was rather pointless, seems like you have an actual dislike ot hatred of Sony right out of the gate, and a lack of basic knowledge of how to use them…
