Would’ve loved a comparison with the Drop THX pandas even just for sound quality. Obviously the pandas don’t have ANC but at least they’re a comparable price to these

Quick warning for anyone looking to use with with a laptop or windows. You can’t use the mic and listen to high quality audio. Basically Bluetooth bandwidth and questionable windows decisions means if the mic is engaged the headphones will only accepts/receive signals on the hands free channel which is mono and has a TERIBLE EQ.

TLDR if you game while on Discord these are not a good choice. You can also see this issue with airPods in windows 10.

The New XM5s Seem To Sound Even Better With Movies Than My XM3s Do . With Music The Bass Does Not Thump Exactly Like My XM3s Do But I Still Like The Sound . With The XM4s I Ended Up Returning Them After 1 Week Because The Bass Was Subdued Conpared To My XM3s. THE XM5s ANC IS AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied . Im Leaning Toward Keeping The XM5s The More I Test Them .

Hi, you can change the duration until the music starts again with the speak-to-chat feature, default is i think 15 seconds and can be set to 30 or 5

You can disregard Linus opinions about the sound quality. He is using the AAC codec. While the codec itself would be fine, most Android phones have horrible AAC Bluetooth Audio hardware encoders according to multiple tests. You should use a different codec on android phones: ldac or sbc in this case

But granted. The average consumer would probably run into the same issue.
