The aux cable is not color matched?? Yeah it’s not used often, but it’s sure nice to have. I flew a full 18 hours over the weekend, international flights have movies! Having that cable is the difference between having noise cancelling or the crappy 1.99 ear buds they provide.

Would have been nice if the headphones were used properly. I get that there is a lot to read through in terms of how to properly use it (which makes it likely to miss certain instructions when looking at them for the first time), but it gives an unfair and incomplete review of the product as if someone bought them they would be likely to go through all of different settings and learn how to use them properly. Slightly disappointed with the review, I wold recommend MKBHD’s video (I know that a ShortCircuit video is a different format/video style in terms of production cost, time, etc.) as the review is much more in depth. One of the very few LTT videos I have disliked.

Will wait a year or two before even considering these as my 1000XM2 and 1000XM4 both developed a popping sound in one ear cup and then around a year in (when the warranty expires) they developed a deafening feedback/screeching noise any time the noise cancelling is on.

Well the Airpods Max have much better transparency mode in general but Linus you hear the sound your own voice via bone conduction in general but what the Sony is making you hear is what others hear you sound like ie. through air wave conduction..

pause is double tap, not single. And you’re supposed to be able to shorten the length of time the headphones stay in transparency mode after the wearer speaks (or just turn off the feature altogether)

Big fan of LTT but this has to be one of the worst videos I have seen. Such a poor attempt at such a significant new release in the headphone space. Very poor all round from everyone.
