Sony headphones are going to sound better on Android as long as LDAC is enabled. iPhones only support AAC which is a lower resolution codec

Jesus what has happened to LTT in the last 12 months; there QC has dropped off a cliff and also the personality of them has went from “your friendly helpful techtubers” to “we are the most snug and arsehole people on the net”. Such as disappointment and i’ve been watching for years.

I got those or similar ones bundled for free with my xperia 5 iii. They’re supposed to be worth 300 pounds or something. Being used to the combo of fiio btr3+Beyerdynamics custom one pro, those Sonys sound TERRIBLE in comparison. They have all the blows and whistles with 3D spatial sound and the noise cancellation and ambient modes and all that useless nonsense that I don’t even know what’s it for besides listening to a demo and going like “that’s fun” and then having no real life use for it ever at all not even once. And trying to listen to music or watch videos is a terrible experience. Hadn’t it been that I got them as a free bundle, I’d be pissed and return them immediately. And that way they were just a disappointment. Maybe I could sell them…

Regarding the ‘caveman’ cable, a lot of people discard it as useless… And then they wish they haven’t when they board a plane and want to enjoy some of the in-flight entertainment options.
