Did they fix the thing where you can’t turn the announcer voice off completely?
If I connect my XM4 to my laptop & phone and listen to music on my phone, and I close my laptop, 5 seconds of my music is overpowered by the announcer voice saying ‘Bluetooth second device .. disconnected’
It kinda makes the multipoint connection feature unusable on the XM4.

“caveman cable” works great on commercial aircraft (plugs right into the headphone jacks)–great use case … get to enjoy sound cancelling plus watch movies/etc.

Understand Linus’ feedback regarding the AirPods Max – they are noticeably heavier than other headphones when you go from daily driving these to trying on say the XM4s.

However, I’ve never experienced any issues wearing them for the past 1.5 years. It may seem like it’s really dumb, but I think credit where credit’s due, they are good headphones (albeit overpriced vs comparable competition).

That being said, of course this is a more freeform content format, where Linus will just give his take on things and it’s totally cool that he’s sharing his thoughts on the product.

Really, no AptX again. When you’re emphasizing BT-connection and want to make it stand-out a little more make sure you have that option. AptX LL is really a must-have if you’re consuming entertainment and don’t want to have a serious skew happening on your audio and video.

So funny to watch Linus get mad when he died the incorrect touch inputs. You gotta physically touch the ear cup for transparency (not just hover) and double tap to pause/play. Surprised he didn’t know because those have been standard inputs for years since the XM3s.

i hope they can be packed togheter like the version 3 and i think 4. main selling point for me as a traveler. small footprint. it dosent look like it tough
