Is he trolling? This review could have been better! He doesnt seem interested? And properly understand the buttons and features. Also baseilne testing the sound with crabrave connected via bluetooth is just nah. Sony makes one of the best audioproducts and it looks like they gave this to linus, and rolled the camera’s. Good video’s make for good RETENTION, therefore you need to become a balanced authority on reviewing, like MKBHD….

I love the case but I don’t like the design.

I think my Xm4s are beautiful, functional yet sleek.

These are sleek but not functional, the headband looks extremely weak and it doesn’t collapse in anyway shape or form, that’s a massive no no for travel headphones.

To anyone who disagrees, yes they are travel headphones, why else would they have noise cancelling

Idk if i should be impressed, the extremely great foldability to my XM4s is gone and besides better noise canceling it’s like, hmmm. It’s a downgrade in every other department sadly. Sony, give me back the compact design with better noise canceling

Are these going to be durable? Do they have replaceable parts? Especially that headband? I find the fake leather sony stuff dissolves in < 5 years usually.

XM4 users here. I have to turn off “speak to chat” by default, esp. when I’m watching LTT, because it always pauses whenever I LOL. Annoying.

You missed testing the (in my opinion) main new feature compared to the XM4, the microphones. I’ve had the XM4 for over a year and I’m still furious that the microphones are so bad I can’t even use them for phone calls because it picks up so much background noise. Would be nice to see if they’ve actually fixed that in the XM5
