I think I’ll get this when the game Behemoth comes out
Just use the Inzone headphones, it fits with the headset and the audio is spectacular!
Quest 2 does 120hz
I wonder if the battery time on controllers is bad on purpose, so you don’t spend too much time using a VR headset, it’s a bit more worrying to do that with screens right on the eyes than a monitor I would guess.
Just a tiny bit more info on the Meta Quest 2: you can play your PC games wirelessly via AirLink, you don’t need to be tethered. I’m using a pretty standard wifi 5 router and I can play Beat Saber perfectly with no latency issues, wifi 6 is supposed to be even better. This is even more attractive for countries where Steam has regional pricing, since usually the PC version of VR games is like 1/5th of the cost of the same game on the Meta Store.
Ngl it looks so stupid. Lol
Sony could have remastered PSVR titles for PSVR2. There are probably people who didn’t get PSVR1 but getting a PSVR2. And Sony should have asked Capcom to remake RE7 for PSVR2 as well, since it was already available for the PSVR. Ace Combat 7 is another title which was available for the PSVR1. Could have asked Bandai Namco to port that over too, with preferably better textures etc. I also wish they made PSVR2 compatible with PC. It’ll add lots of value to it. Currently, its an expensive PS5-only peripheral… I’ll probably considering getting it AFTER they’ve released a good amount of AAA titles for it. Like you said, I need “proof”. Content is everything for this. The only way I’m getting it early would be PC compatibility, because I could be playing with SteamVR on PSVR2 while waiting for more PSVR2 titles on PS5. (don’t have PCVR)
i’m surprised you didn’t talk about the mode that allows you to essentially turn your psvr2 head set to your tv. and play your ps5 games using the vr headset. missing that kinda makes the review a bit lacking. would of loved to know how it worked from your perspective.
I almost didn’t notice the *around* in the title and immediately got excited!
I’m deciding between a ps5 + psvr2 (since I don’t have a ps5 because I only use a PC) or getting the Bigscreen beyond. I really want comfort because I can’t play for long because all of my past headsets have not been super comfortable but the beyond is custom-made for your face but the psvr2 has foveated rendering which is what I’ve been waiting for so I am having trouble deciding either way each one is going to cost 1100 USD for me
i would buy one of these in a heartbeat if i could use it on pc, or if it was wireless. GOD i wanna play gt7 vr, but ive got a quest, so even though ive got all the stuff, (pc and ps5) i cant. 🙁
Don’t forget that using the Meta Quest requires giving up your privacy to Facebook…Read the privacy policy and note the many instances of personal data…Height, Foot Size, Hand Size, Body movement data, Room Scans and more that youre giving away to Facebook. Theres a reason the meta quest is cheap, youre subsidizing it with very intimate details about your body and living space. PSVR2 doesn’t invade your privacy anywhere near the same level. An important thing to consider before buying a Meta product and something that should be mentioned when comparing these two products.
It’d be cool if they put half life Alyx on PSVR
More board and card games would be cool in vr, like pokemon, magic or yugioh. Actually seeing the cards animated would be awesome
Bob have you ever played Half-Life 2 Alyx? It is incredible.
6:21 Fake information I advise you to fat check it before putting out garbage the quest to goes up to 120hz and can be overclocked for better clarity.
You didn’t play re 8 VR? That’s not officially on anything else, that makes it a exclusive, PC mod doesn’t count and no where end as good .
I feel like if normal movement controls make you nauseous in VR, you just shouldn’t play VR. I absolutely hate the theme park ride games and teleportation movement. Just let me play the game like a gamer, not a tourist.
The Quest 2 can do 120hz you need to enable it in settings
quest 3 will come out end of this year and people will see that having more games is more important than having better visuals. It’s the gameplay that matters.
