Just play gt7 already.
Lack of killer apps/games? Are you serious ?? So you didn’t see Gran Turismo, Resident Evil Village or Pavlov? There’s 30 games at launch. Your gripe is your own personal issue.
I was pretty sure Oculus plays at 120hz as a pc hmd
Lmfao that’s a terrible comparison. Meta quest looks like dog shit compared to Sonys.
I just want steam support, or it’s just not worth purchasing
I have to say that not including backwards compatibility with the PSVR1 is a huge mistep and honestly kills any desire I would have to currently buy it. The biggest problem PSVR right now is the lack of games. For $550 it is not yet worth it for me.
Thanks for the review Bahb. Lots of good points made!
Meta Quest has 128GB instead of 64GB. I guess that’s the reason for the price difference but I don’t think it should be a whole 100 more.
Considering the PSVR2 is cable of playing high quality PC comparable graphics, I think the PSVR2 is an incredible deal. If more quality games come out for the PSVR2, then in my opinion it’s currently the best deal on the market price wise. I’m excited to see what high quality games might come out for it. Hopefully, we get games on par with Half Life Alyx.
I own Quest 2 and Yes More PC content. You need to play more games on PSVR 2 though. GT7, Resident Evil, Kayak VR and evrything will change. I actually think they will support this.
This dude is just being needlessly critical. Many of the things he complains about, are not even actual issues. And his list of games he played are literally the bottom of the barrel games. Humanity isn’t even out yet and it’s not even a fully vr game. And that music game is just something they included for kids. There are way better music based games like pistolwhip and synth riders. The games he said that were multiplatform, all look and play better on the vr2. Many of the issues he brings up about games, are issues that were brought up 2 weeks ago, BEFORE the system came out, and have now been clarified. The system already has 30 launch games with many more being announced and developed. And just this week playstation did a showcase for 5 upcoming high quality vr games. He doesn’t even mention GT7 or RE8 which are huge highlights and must play games. Not to mention the new RE4 remake will have a vr mode as well. I don’t have any issues with being critical, but this dude went out of his way to be biased and often presented outdated and debunked information. His review made sense maybe 2 weeks ago when people didn’t know, bit to bring this out now when people can see for themselves just seems odd.
I’m in Canada, it’s over 900 (including tax) for the horizon bundle. Then over 800 for a ps5 (which I already own) but that’s a 1700 investment…if I had faith that it would be supported it would still be a hard thing to suggest 🤷🏾♂️
My PSVR 2 is quite nice, but I’m very irked about the controller issues I, and a lot of people, are having.
Imagine getting a $600 device for free and saying it’s not a biased review.
Let me just stop you guys before you waste 20 min. This guy is lying about most of this stuff.
GT7 is the killer app (at least for a lot of people it is). Why didn’t you try it?
I initially had the same thought about humanity. Then I realized there’s a VR mode in the main menu you have to activate.
If it had PC support it would have been a day 1 buy for me
You absolutely can wear over ear headphones with the headset, just depends on the model
The oculus can go up to 120 not 90
