Come back next month with a new video once you’ve played a few more PSVR2 games like : GT7 / Resident Evil Village / Pavlov / Rez / Pistol Whip / Switchback VR (16 March) – and let the people know if PSVR2 is still worth it or not. 😉
l am super excited my financial life has totally changed ever since I ventured into crypto market. Ive been earning over $12,000 every single week. Lol
6:15 The quest 2 can do 120hz as well. It’s already natively supported on games like super hot, and always available in pcvr mode.
6:45 Foveated Rendering is used on pretty much all vr headsets right now, including quest 1 and 2. On for example quest 2, the Foveated Rendering is locked to the middle of the screen with therefore blurry edges always being visible. On psvr 2 it is locked to your eye movement.
The 3d pulse wireless headphones work flawlessly with the vr2. I love it
Pavlov Zombieland Fever reloaded its play of games this vr is amazing…….my controller last for 5 ours
I went from psvr to pico4. Yea i will loose much in games with quest… but someday i May upgrade komputer maybe
So, the audio thing isn’t an issue with the pulse 3d headset. Fits comfortably and not a bad thing at all. I admit, the earbuds do suck. It’s worth getting the pulse 3d headset for $99. They punch up in quality.
What game was playing on the arcade machine in the background at 15:20?
Meta, if you have only a switch or nothing else – if you have a pS5 and looking for a VR, get the ps5. I sold my meta vr to get the ps vr2, and I’m 100% happy I did
Demeo is SOOOO GOOD. i have it on MQ2 and definitely getting it on psvr2. Happy you mentioned demeo, its criminally underrated. The main reason PSVR2 is worth it IMO is Gran Turismo 7. If you have a rig with wheel and pedals, a PSVR2 is a must buy
This might be an overkill “accessory” but using the PSVR2 with the Herman Miller Embody chair has been exceptional. The way the back moves gives great support and feels immersive when sitting.
I’m still MEH on VR of any kind.
I was able to put my headphones on first and then the psvr2 on that and that seemed to work fine but I definitely was not able to put my headphones on after the psvr2
Quest 2 has support for 120hz
I have a quest 2 and a psvr 2. Quest 2 games look like shit and the library really isn’t that good. The best games in quest 2 are on other headsets with better graphics, and with meta cancelling VR games left right and centre I wouldn’t go into buying a quest 2 expecting anything other than San Andreas. Seriously if you care about graphics even slightly, look up quest 2 comparisons first.
Nice video, I just have one critique, the info you gave about the Quest 2’s maximum refresh rate is wrong, most games do only go up to 90hz, but through the device settings you can enable 120hz when supported by certain games like Sport Mode as an example, just thought I’d clear that up 🙂
If the PSVR 2 gets native PC support, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. The Oculus App on PC eats up so much ram that it has actually stonewalled my progress on some games.
I don’t agree there is no Killer app. GT7 is unbelievable and I’m not even into racing games, until now that is. Also, the video complains about neck comfort after an hour of Demeo and then mentions how you can play it untethered on a Quest 2, one of the most uncomfortable headsets after 15 minutes of playing. It also mentions how horrible the earbuds are, which I disagree with, and then falsely mentions how it’s not made with headphones in mine for fit even though the PS5 pulse headphones fit absolutely perfect with the headset. It depends on the headset, but the pulse was definitely considered in the design of the headset.
Heads up Adults. If you have a PC with a 1080 or later or (AMD equal), you can totally pick up an old Oculus Rift for around $100 and get right into PC VR’s entire library. You don’t need a cutting edge PC to play VR with very comfortable and quality visuals. 980 seems to be the cutoff for VR capable graphics cards. The difference in visuals is not super large between headsets until you get into way high end. I think new innovations will be geared towards comfort, and less headgear and more of a goggle design.
Nice video!
