idk about some of the stuff here. I had no issues with audio, I found they sound great out of the box, and my battery life is good! not oculus levels but it’s rechargeable so I think it has less overall charge to work with. Plus the haptic and triggers suck some of em up, but even then i’v played for a good 2 hours and battery’s went down maybe one bar

I honestly don’t get this kind of reviews. why would you buy a PSVR2 if you already have a VR headset? I mean to me it’s obvious PS is targeting PS5 owners who either want to upgrade from PSVR1 or skipped it (like me) waiting for a better one. and for this targe audience the PSVR2 is close to perfection. Similarly I don’t care at all that games are ported from other platforms! I’m having a blast with Runner (15 USD), thumper, Tetris effect, Swordsman, Moss 1&2, Star Wars etc all pretty cheap games and all incredible to someone like me who skipped VR until now.
I’ve tried VR here and there over the yers, in arcade or via friends, this PSVR2 is the only time I truly feels like it’s not a gadget but a real and solid gaming proposition. Went through the demo of RE Village and it might reconcile me with FPS on “console” after all those years not being able to play on PC and basically giving up on FPS.
in short, if you have a PS5 and the money, and if you are not already collecting VR headsets left and right, PSVR2 is a no brainer, go for it!
waiting for more games to show up or stronger support from Sony is ludicrous, this will only slow down sales and have he opposite effect. already with the current lunch library I’m happy about my buy. and I didn’t feel that well about spending so much money on something for quite some time.

You should 100% try Pavlov VR, I’ve been playing since launch on PSVR 2 and have never had more fun in a competitive game.

PSVR is a sweet entry headset. Really well specced for people who have just.. not experienced VR at all. All of its novelties (foveated rendering etc.) will all come in the upcoming generation of headsets like the new Quest, Index, Vive etc.

I’ll 100% wait for a PC compatible headset over buying into a console platform. Console exclusives are a dead idea, and won’t ever sell me on $500-1000 to buy in. I’ll just ignore it and stick to my main platform (PC) where I can play everything (even if a year or two later when they “unexclsuvie” themselves) except Nintendo. Which continues to be worth he small investment in a Switch I made 5 years ago.

I’d disagree with the point that you have to adjust things every time you play with the quest 2. Pretty much every time I put mine on its good to go, except for the occasional wipe with a microfiber cloth on the inside for smudges.

It always bothered be, when youtubers got something for free and they’re just throwing the packages and the items around like it was trash. Have some fudging respect for the things you got for free.
