I have one and somehow every time I use it it is better.
After the 1st psvr I have NO INTEREST WHATSOEVER in vr.
PSVR doesn’t have any of the social games that literally every long term VR player outside of margin of error plays 90% of the time, so it’s going to be collecting a whole lot of dust when people get bored of GT7
Seeing as the beat saber devs haven’t said anything about psvr 2 you’re probably more likely to play the quest because you can only play it there rn
The Sony PS5 Pulse Over the Ear headphones fit perfectly for me. Those are my recommendation.
Quest 2 connected to PC is not great. Even tethered it is heavily compressed because t’s a usb c cable and not display port. Reverb G2 is a lower priced vr headset that makes the PSVR2 look like last gen as far as resolution.
Gt7 in vr with a wheel is amazing
Bob, you gotta tell me where you got (or made) the arcade cabinet in the back of the room. It’s sick af
I bought one, and it had one dead pixel through the lens that was irking the hell out of me. So I returned it and got another one. I could swear that the newer headset that came in is a million times better because it:
Doesn’t have a dead pixel
Somehow it is not blurry like the original psvr2 I got.
I’m playing horizon call of the mountain and RE8. Holy crap! It blows my mind how immersed I am. That first time I saw that tallneck- I felt overwhelmed.
Also, that first Lycan attack from RE8- I almost crapped myself, it was so scary. 100% I’ll be keeping it.
Uh, qhest 2 has has 120hz for a _minute_ now
The price has to come down. No matter how amazing it is, $550 to get through the door is a lot to ask for consumers….and the killer apps aren’t there.
I’m looking forward to trying it when it hits the used market. Same as VR1.
I also came in VR
I’d say the PSVR2 is a good system if you’re a console-only gamer. But, if you have a capable Gaming PC, I’d say get a Quest 2 because you have access to a myriad of PCVR titles and VR mods. Alien Isolation and Resident Evil 2 VR mods are amazing. If Sony would make the PSVR2 compatible with PC, I think it would sell better.
Wonder how many of you would change your tune if you had to pay 500 + 600 just to play overpriced mobile games and mechanically restrained or otherwise simpistic ports of already good non-vr games you could play for a fraction of the cost…
Especially now that the VR space is a bigger “?” than ever before, with many major game developers pulling back hard. Like, I genuinely can’t think of many games that are must-play on VR, maybe Alex and stuff like beat saber, but that ain’t worth 1k+ and I’m not even sure beat saber is on PSVR 2. The inabilty to flex out to other ecosystem is a strong negative there.
Hard enough already outside of PSVR2 to swallow a 500-1k headset on top of a beefy PC, but at least you have the freedom to do a lot of stuff with it or use it on non-games…
LOL the dkoldies joke in the honey ad. “Kinda” I see you wulf
Oculus quest 2 has 120 Hz
mandeeee
Thank you Sony… I mean Thank you PlayStation
How do you not talk about the 2 best games? RE:Village and GT7?
You cannot be serious about the Quest 2 having better audio than the PSVR2, you just need better headphones.
