i got my airpods 2019, now they only last a good 45 mins, but only the right one, left one is good
AirPods pro last me about 3 years, when they hit 3 years, the battery barely give 1 hour of calls or listening. Noise cancellation got missed up and did not work properly, also they got super slow when connecting with iPhone, when I first got them, they connect the second I put them in my ear, after 3 years, they took about 15 to 30 seconds to connect and sometimes they don’t even connect, and this problem is not from the phone, it is from the airpods, because I changed my phone to the newest iPhone at the time and they still don’t connect fast, I just bought a new one after that, yea they are expensive and they get expired in 3 years but I made my money, used them for 3 years, I’m happy with 3 years, because 3 years for Apple products is a long time. And I would suggest that if anyone want their laptop/computers/phones/headphones last 4+ don’t even think about Apple, just go buy something else
Apple will upgrade those airpods to only one year listening time. Just wait.
i’ve had both pairs of my airpods 3 for almost two years now and both hold the battery life about the same since i first purchased them… and my 2nd gen airpods lasted me a very long time as well so they’re definitely built to last about 3-4 years actually. well that’s only if you’re responsible with them i’m guessing.
The wired ones always win for me I’ve got both and use wired ones in the majority
I seem to rarely need to charge mine, both the AirPods themselves and the charge case. mind you I only use them a few times a week. even so, amazing battery life for something so small
Nah bro I got mine for 3 years now and I use them every day and they still last like 4-5 hours
Reject Bluetooth earbuds, embrace wired earphones
I’m rocking gen 1 AirPods that are 3yo with 80-85% battery life still, I use them EVERY day. So I’ll gladly disagree with you
I’ve had a pair of airpod pros for a couple of years now and I’m thinking of upgrading to pro 2 after they crap out on me
I got my airpods in 2019 and yeah, it’s not as bad as you say 😂
My brother got airpods 3 years ago and he uses them every day for a lot and they are still holding up pretty good but he says he might get new ones pretty soon
It’s the opposite for me, I’m an active persona and i used to use wired ear buds from apple all the time, after about 2-3 months the audio in one side would get quieter. On the other side, AirPods can last me over a year, (apple care can replace them)
I can approve that, now I’m using third pair of AirPods and after 2 +- years they’re dead, battery problems especially when you are on the call, charging problems, connection problems etc. but I’m sure you can hold them even longer if you are not like me who has them 8 hours in a day
People here are coping about wireless buds.
Good thing I don’t use crappy earbuds anyways. AirPods are garbage anyways. The only people that realistically buy them are people with no taste and they have no idea what music is supposed to sound like
Apple changed earphone to wireless so that you will replace it within 2 years then removes charger to save environment..
So nice of Apple.
I’ve had the jbl reflect flow for 3 years now i think. I bought them for €100 and they have 10 hours of listening time, are waterproof and they stay in my ears pretty well.
But it uses master-slave and has micro usb charging so I’ll buy new ones when these will give out. I listen to music everyday and wear them almost up to 8-10 hours a day
Mine lasted 5 years
The wired Apple headphones barely lasted half a year are you kidding? After 6 months like on clockwork, listening at full volume was barely audible or one headphone sounded muffled or it died completely. I was throwing away 70€ a year easily on them.
