For the average user all the gaming headsets will be nearly identical at the sub-$100 level. just realize that past you WILL be paying significantly more for varying degrees of quality. While I love my $80 G430’s that have the same physical sound drivers as my old beloved G35’s, I can’t deny the audiophile in me would love myself a pair of Sennheiser cans… if I could afford them.

I choose my PC headphones based on sound quality, not what they offer. After owning 4 pairs over the years, each one better than the last, I have ended up at the Razer Kraken Pro, which nothing has been able to compete with so far; seriously, I’ve tried like 20 of what people are the best headphones, and they just can’t compare.

I just use a nice speaker system. Mostly because I don’t want to waste the 12 inch subwoofer mounted under my desk.

what I like of headsets is that they care way more about confort than regular headphones…that untill you reach pro price tag, where headphones also care about confort because pro are suposed to be into long audio sesions.

all the hate for gaming headsets are from those who cant afford a good one and yes i know you can find a better sounding pair of headphones for cheaper but thats not the point for these headsets its features and more features u may not necessarily need

Please, use push to talk if you don’t have a proper headset. There are so many people using separate mic and most of the sounds are their keyboard and mouse clicks.
