Is it just me or should gaming headphones have a mic included? If no mic then they’re just headphones and not have anything to do with gaming.

I much prefer my Astro A50s over Audio Technica ATH-R70 Xs or ATH-M50 Xs. Sure out of the box they require some tuning in Astro software but overall they sound great, accurate and are way more comfortable than either of my Audio Technicas. The virtual surround sound is also surprisingly accurate. I think that one should be really careful when buying a headset at low budget because those usually aren’t too durable (I’ve gone through couple Trittons and Steelseries Siberias and they were by no means cheap) but those HyperX headsets seem quite promising.

I have a question, right now I have JBL E55BT headphones and I only play mobile games like pubg and critical ops. Should I get the hyperx cloud stinger headset for those games? will they make me hear better where the footsteps are coming from? If so, to me it’s worth it. But I don’t know if they can tell me exactly where the sound comes from
