A video on how surround sound software works would be a fantastic pair with this.
The difference is that most headphones are shit and ALL gaming headsets are shit!
Don’t waste your money on dolby headphone and 5.1 and 7.1 and all that jazz. Most games since the 1990’s have had HRTFs built into the engine. The only exception is games that ONLY support 5.1 and 7.1 then only in that case it might be beneficial if the game doesn’t have HRTFs..
Was “movie watching between cut scenes” a Metal Gear reference?
3:07 lmao they’re not plugged in
A bunch of techquickies about cameras with subjects like mirrorless vs mirror cameras and stuff like that would be awesome. As someone looking into a camera to buy it would be awesome to have a few techquickies about the various camera subjects. thanks for all the awesome videos
3:09 Is the headphone plug in

Is there any virtual surround software that doesnt have a delay? I tried Razer, but it’s delayed.
can anybody say if soundblaster evo zx are good ? they have 3 connection options and they are getting cheaper and cheaper by day ( now around 85 still gonna wait a bit more )
Hey guys I need some help. I recently built my first computer and everything run great except one thing. Every time I listen to music I feel like it is not as loud as it could be. I disabled all audio enhancements like google said I should and it sort of worked but I know it should be louder. I had this problem on my laptop and to fix it I looked up some audio drivers for my exact model and reinstalled them. In my current situation I don’t know how to move forward with my driver solution. Have any ideas of experiences to share?
If you’re going to configure headsets and games, they should be using bin-aural sound. This completely eradicates the need for any other form of “surround” processing.
The HyperX Cloud series of headsets is probably the best value you’re going to get in the <$100 price range.
@Techquickie It’d be great If you can talk about PCI card, some peripherals like arcade sticks do not work without it and it’d be great if we can find the tech behind that.
So much bullshit with “positional” stuff in the gaming headphones. Nigga I was playing competitive CS 1.5 and 1.6 with 5$ cans, and sure they have literally 0 bass for music but for the purpose of playing competitive counter-strike, they worked like a charm and never ever had issues. Not to say you shouldnt get a gaming headset ( my Sennheiser 320s are all I really need for anything atm ) but, dont go out of your way.
1:03 weeeeee, i’m a gamer
Tessellation (directx 11 feature) next please, youtube really lacks a decent explanation for how this effect works.
“Gaming” “7.1 Surround” is the new word for “piece of shit”.
