Any 10$ headset will do. Never had problems hearing where the sounds are coming from (Behind, left, above etc)

I was wondering if you’d ever covered this in an As fast as possible, only because i’ve heard so many mixed opinions, i personally have a gaming headset though one of the slightly older versions that uses the USB just for powering the receiver.
Speaking of your persistant sponsors at the end of your videos…..(stops video), i like watching your content, not your sponsors, though i understand the purpose of why you mention them.

I´ve got the sennheiser zero. They sound pretty much the same as their headphones which cost about 20-30€ less (the mic and a nice design make up for it). They don´t have quite as much bass as their normal headphones. Which imo is good. If you are into shooters your ears will hurt with to much bass. If you want you can tweak them for more bass (look for pc350 bass tweak)
I tried lots of headphones. I disliked pretty much all of them. I don´t want to advertise, but the zero pleases me with game and music quality. Keep in mind that you need a dedicated soundcard for best results. Onboard chips dont have the quality or lack power to handle high ohm headsets/headphones

I think 3.5mm headsets are the way to go. I have a hyper x cloud gaming headset and it sounds great and it works with my ps4 and Xbox one as well(adapter needed).
