My V-Moda LP2 cost me £150 and £25 for the attachable microphone. They’ve proven to be fantastic, extremely durable. I recently upgraded the ear pads and it completely got rid of the ear ache it can give you after a long time.

I use an Asus Strix 2.0 headset, and it is by far the best sounding headset I have ever used, with the clearest sounding microphone I’ve ever used. It is incredibly difficult to find actual decent audio equipment without recommendations.

just get hd 598 and mod mic. best 150 I have spent in a while. also best headphones I have ever used
When you mention 3.5mm plugs, you show a 1/4″ plug.
It’s my honest opinion that if you’re worried about a gaming headset then you’ll realize the need of long-haul-comfort > all. There’s nothing more sexy than seeing your secret crush walking in to talk to you while you’re prison raping some tool from a far off land on your favorite FPS, taking off your headset, and have a stream of BOOYAH-sweat roll down your chops.
My advice is to build your own. Go online and get some reviews on over-the-ear safety PPE style noise reduction ear muffs. People in the real world have to wear these things for 8 hours + and will rate them accordingly. After that, simply buy a good mic and headphones. A little hack and slash style DIY, and you’re in it to win it. Just my 2 cents.
Kids, don’t buy gaming headsets, thank me later.

One more thing with gaming headsets – there designed for max comfortable long usage. I’ve got G430 and I’m wearing glasses(some headphones sits very bad due to that) – barely even feel them, moreover, sounds well with good old sound blaster live for music needs
And those software for simulation of surrounding are?
those freakin images though. a gamer girl pretending to game on a turned off screen, a girl pretending to listening to music but the headphone is not even plugged in the phone…
Listening to this on my 7 dollar earphones.
you should
I will never buy again one of these gaming headsets. I had a soundblaster alpha, 2 turtlebeaches and a steelseries v2. All of them had something i was mad about. the Soundblaster had a horibble mic. the turtlebeaches fell apart and the steelseries v2 didn’t work anymore 2 days after warranty ending. Now i wasted 400 bucks in this crap and none of them hold much longer than 1 year. I bought 2 years ago a mmx300 from Beyerdynamics for 300 bucks and it works great. Nice microphone and audio quality. The most Parts are out of metal so they won’t fall apart
I have only used 2 headsets first had a roccat kave 5.1 was pretty loud but audio itself was shit.
I know have a Asus Strix DSP and pretty happy with it 60mm drivers good base does a better job of surround sound through software then the kave 5.1 did with multiple drivers. Its also great in movies and music buuuuuuut they dont go up very loud it definitely need a few extra notches of volume.
Am I the only one who’s getting that annoying humming sound in the background?
Actually i think 5.1 makes me hard to orient where the sound is coming from as it introduce some sort of echo.
Have you guys done a video on surge protectors yet? I think its something most people dont think about. I see some people talking about whole home protectors that are 150 dollars or so. And then also running a standard surge protector.
I bought a razer gaming headsets. But I end with a 20 dollar headphone. ^_^
