I have two sets of speakers: a pair of Logitech speakers and a 5.1 sound system I found in the garage (emphasis on FOUND IN THE GARAGE). Plus some cheapo headphones that I always break and have to replace constantly. No mic. The only other mic I have is a karaoke mic but it has a 50 gajillion foot cable and it requires a 1/4in to 3/8in adapter that I lost and an extension cable so the adapter doesn’t snap in half (the 1/4in jack and adapter combined would be a 5in long plug altogether).

So other than possibly sound quality (and general quality and usability of the equipment in general) and accounting for the fact that I break so many headphones and earbuds (or they would break on me over time by either having the wires or speakers crap out) and the fact that I don’t even speak across the web anymore, I don’t really need or want a gaming headset. 2Fragile4Me.

Been using a Razer Tiamat 7.1 paired with an Asus Xonar DX 7.1 card for 4 years now.
Sound quality, comfort, etc.. all amazing.

I’m an audiophile who owns 2 $800 pairs of headphones, I do musical engineering / mixing, and IT work with computers. I mostly console game now and I thought that I would never game with anything but my surround sound system until I got a pair of turtle Beach. Of course the audio quality isn’t as acute and clear as good headsets but that doesn’t matter in gaming. What matters is being able to hear exactly where the enemy is around you with the “aural trickery.” You have no idea have much they help you in fps until you use them. It’s sometimes almost cheating because you can tell where they’re coming from before they come around a corner. I can even tell if their below or above me.

Would G4ME ONE be good headset? In my country it’s chaeper than same headphones and modmic. For me it looks to have great audio, comfort and mic

I can sum this up even faster – headphones are better. If you want a good headset, just buy a pair of audiophile cans and get something like a modmic.
