This headset is FAR outside my price range, and I would actually say the Meta Quest Pro is less “expensive” even though the product price tag is more. The fact you need a phone with that 3D scannable feature and also need to get your prescription for IPD and the lenses, is a lot to ask just for a headset. I get it, for the super enthusiasts, but for anyone else this is just not obtainable.

I think it’s good to have another approach in the vr hardware market, but this is not for me. I want to see more social vr sharing, this is the opposite. I don’t want to install anything in my room for tracking and I want to see vr/ar use cases plus an option to go wireless. Tbh not a single feature here seems interesting for my personal preferences.

Bro the future is coming quick. We now have a physical, small, and amazing headset to work with. Not to mention, with this we could actually make possible small headsets with standalone. Of course it’s far from now but there is now inspiration in the air for anyone to grab. Bigscreen made a decision and they made a good one

Gonna be honest this seems like the headset i’ve always wanted until i saw the price. Just the headset with no controllers, yeah not happening. Here’s to hoping this gets way cheaper down the line, other wise i this’ll probably just be an enthusiast product.
