if this can get a wireless addon i would order it instantly, until then ill hold out for a basestation tracked wireless headset in the form factor of this or the vive XRE. small form factor is great but it is 1000x greater when its also wireless

for the lenses, id be fine with the face shape not matching but why not make the lenses interchangeable, say your prescription changes, you can hot swap to new lenses and order new ones

thats amazing but the price tag is so much that nobody is going to want to push out that money for a headset its to much its great and im happy that its being made but when the price tag is so high its going to be a very small amount of pepole will buy it its a shame

Makes sense for a steamvr (lighthouse + index controllers) owner. I’m not at all interested, but the formfactor is something I’d like to see on standalone (with battery at rear, or in pocket).
I’d much rather wait for a Quest 3 or Pico 5. XR2 Gen2, AV1 support and even better wireless experience instead of reinvesting in outside in tracking, cables, mounts and a dedicated vr play space.

I wish it had built in audio comparable to the index, maybe even a kit that lets you remove the index audio and throw it on with some sort of adapter.

If this headset ever gets wireless support then I will 100% get one. That’s the only thing that is a must for my set up since my pc is in another room so I have an empty room (except base stations) to VR away in. It’ll be nice to upgrade from the Gen 1 Vive.

for someone who has a quest 2 this headset seems like a huge waste of money to me. id have to spend like 2 grand just to get this headset. and because of this. its simply not worth the money

Even though my PC can barely run VR with a quest 2, having this kind of new competition is refreshing to say the least, I really look forward to the beyond.
