I think my major problem with the lenses being specific for your prescription is the fact that prescriptions change.

I’m actually thinking about buying it. I do have a Quest 2, but because of how chunky it is (it’s actually a real issue because of my long hair, it just feels weird) and weird to setup with PCVR for me, this might actually be something interesting..

It’s small, light, and simple…so why is it $1000? Why does it have to be crazy custom with IPD? Just do sliders. I want this kind of thing, since this is exactly what PCVR needs, but I feel like this is DOA due to the price, which stems from each unit being custom built.

Wireless connectivity and a battery in the back of a headstrap is an absolute must for me. Either way though, super excited to see where this goes!

This is definitely a direction i’d love to see VR go in. I’ve heard you talk about wanting a device like this but figured it’s unfeasible.
The funny thing to me is that i’d be relieved not having to worry about the headset getting gross playing strenuous games, since it’s just for me. But at the same time for the price i’d be too worried of breaking it lol

Oh god, not another $1k+ headset. I just don’t care about new VR hardware anymore because of stuff like this. Is the Quest 2 the only decent, affordable headset in existence now and the foreseeable future?

This, my friends, is much worse then facebook that’s how they get all your most important biometrics without having to ask for them ! you pay mostly with data that is so important you don’t even start to get how and why, the headset should be free and every new generations of it too for such an ask.

It’s gonna cost a kidney, but I’m willing to sell one to get my hands on this. I cant pass up a custom made, form fitted, OLED PC VR headset that’s almost an 1/8th of the weight if my current index. couldn’t be more excited!

It’s intresting but when you can use 300 to 400 headset for pcvr the 1k for this seems like too much, interested but wish it were cheaper, understandable why It can’t be it seems packed with quality
