Love it… just wish it came with inside out tracking and color passthrough:/
Atleast have a modual with magnetic conector.

And if your could make it stand alone just by adding a optional battery+prossessor strap. Or with a belt mounted powerfull Arm mini PC or just a phone.

Immersion is at least 80% of the vr appeal so even though its more expensive I feel like custom fitting will eventually be the future norm of vr for the sake of individuals sight and build. This was a risky business strategy and design for the headset at the current time but I really want it to be successful because its something my fat head and bad vision would benefit from so much.

I wish it had passthrough! Reality Mixer is killer – it lets you create a portal into the real world. I like to play piano in vrchat and need to be able to see me actual fingers on the keys!

The MeganeX might as well not come out. The team that is working on that doesn’t seem to know what they are doing. The product just got worse recently according to Sadly it’s Bradley and Thrillseeker. It costs $700 more than the Bigscreen one with pretty much the same functionality.

I have a question for thrill or anyone else that can answer so he says the headset is light but it doesn’t have a top strap so won’t it just slip off your face when playing games like beat saber or something with a lot of movement or is that not a problem?

Custom personal lense is cool and all but limits the usage for 1 user only. Can’t share it in the family playing in turns and no resell value at all.

The one thing im hoping for and that i think is really important is about the lenses i absolutely love that you can get them to match your glasses but also for me im not the only one who will use the vr so if i order it fitted for me others wont be able to use it so something WE NEED is to have an option to order extra lenses with different fittings and have the lenses easily switchable on the device. This is very important for something like this because a lot of people will or be sharing it or try to show it to others so we need this option.

They lost me at “you can’t share it with people” this is exactly THE device I’d want to invite friends for a VR party. Cool concept, though. Why not build it modular so you could attach a custom build PC instead of it being wired all the time? Could also provide extension points for audio, eye tracking, face tracking. If only this was a platform rather than a single use thing, ah well

No ipd adjustment + built in prescription = impossible to share

Also, prescription changes. I’ve had a new prescription every year or two…

Are the lenses going to be replaceable?

Price is the only thing holding it back from being the ultimate vr headset, technically the headset is far more expensive than $999. VR is way too small to cater just for niche. Why most projects fail.

Still a cool concept though.
