Getting this headset to be wireless would be awesome. Thing is I feel the battery wouldn’t need to be huge because all it’s doing is displaying what the computer is sending over.

If I could use this to fly my fpv drones then it would be an instant sale. Closest thing I know of in the FPV world is the Orqa hmd.

I love tech that is designed to do a few specific things better than anyone else, tech like this a nice refresher from all the big companies constantly trying (and failing) to make things that appeal to everyone.

Tbh I really dislike the hyper customization of this headset. I play vr with friends a lot, in person, and I feel like these custom lenses and face mount ruin this. Plus your face and eyes change over time, so it’s not always going to fit you. If this headset wasn’t super customized to each user, I feel like they could be substantially cheaper

“After you pre-order your headset, we’ll email you to begin the 3D face scanning process. This requires an Apple iPhone XR or newer” – This alone is a deal breaker for many people.
Either way, sticking to my G2 in the meantime until we get something with more FoV. OLED is amazing, but I don’t think the price is worth it for me with the current FoV.
