I’m sold, I don’t care of it’s 1000 bucks for just the head set. in a field where my options are Meta or this I’d take this hands down it is worth every penny when the developers go to those lengths to make it a good product. It would break my wallet now but I wouldn’t regret it one bit

I love it, I want it but I had the HTC Vive shortly after it came out and the lighthouses were just awful and I don’t think I can go back to that, I’d love to buy one of these but I need my headset to have inside out tracking

being custom made to your own face is a BIG mistake. I share my headset with my kids, and other people might share it with friends and family members. If you cannot adjust the IPD it will be very uncomfortable for anyone other than yourself. Also I wear glasses, so if the headset has already lenses for my eyes, it will be unusable for people with no glasses or different glasses prescription. If they don’t fix this, it will fail.

it looks cool, but FOV is really important to be wide with good resolution in my opinion, it would be a bit hard for me to justify buying one when I own a Pimax 8KX, still a cool product though at that size.

People who wear glasses don’t have the same prescription forever. Ideally the change in prescription levels off, but it can change year to year. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’d be cool to be in VR without glasses, but people who need them are likely to need to change the prescription every year or few.

This is such a nice breath of fresh air into the vr community. I just feel like a lot of new vr tech has been building back from the square one basics that stand-alone was limited to a few years ago and it’s great to see a new product continue the pcvr trend that has effectively been on hold for the last 4 years.
