No eye tracking is a massive turn off, I don’t think I can switch to any other headset without it after having my varjo aero for 5 months.

1k for JUST the headset? 😆 . I wonder why aren’t folks trying to compete with the Quest and are only fighting amongst the very expensive headsets that don’t even include anything else. I keep wondering about that.

Why do standalone headset batteries even need to be on the headsets? Many of us wear a bunch of tracking peripherals. Why not just make the battery wearable on the body?

If you look at the website it says to do the face scan you would need an iphone XR or newer, since a depth sensor is required. So regardless of how much I wanted this headset, there isn’t an easy, realistic way for me to order it. Too bad.

FOV is the main upgrade I want when I replace my quest 2. I don’t want to see the binocular edge, I want to feel like I’m really in it. This headset looks amazing and thankfully I’m not looking to upgrade yet but dang that FOV is a bummer on an otherwise pretty much perfect headset

Small size, but a ridiculously high price, no accessories, so you have to spend another $800 on them and forces you to scan your face with a sketchy app that only work on the notched iphones, that’s a giant no for me

being in the situation of already having 4 base stations, trackers, and controllers, I could see myself getting this. However my biggest ask is Eye/Face Tracking, we just dont have a solid headset with all these capabilities yet sadly. But as soon as it happens, you’ll see me at the front of the line lol
