One of the other downsides is you need a recent iphone for the face scan. RIP the 70-80% of people who use android i guess

this thing is not a headset as much as a pair of VR goggles, which is great for people that have the proper setup

I do enjoy showing my friends VR with my Quest 2 linked to my PC so having such a personalized piece of tech would be inconvenient for that

…well…guess I know what headset I’m going to attempt to get in the future at some point. I got a Quest2 atm, and believe it or not, I’m not upset with the FOV I got, it’s just getting old and I kinda need to get something that has better weight distribution. This solves that, but being my old headset is a Quest2, I’m gonna need to invest in the full setup regardless of what I upgrade to. I don’t need face/eye tracking (would be cool tho), and again FOV ain’t an issue with me. Being able to wear these without my glasses though…now *THAT* is the selling point for these for me. Having a headset that can match my prescription is basically the dream.

I bought and Index, and a Quest 2. No longer own the Quest 2, and am done with Facebook forever, but the state of PCVR has been kinda sad in terms of tech…

And now I see this. This is really it. I just wish it had 120 hz screens, that’s my only complaint. I can get over everything else. Well…I can probably get over the 120 hz screen with how great everything else seems but hey…

Sounds AMAZING, I’m very interested & the $1,000 price is ok, PC VR is the BEST, but having a field of view below 120 degrees makes me very hesitant – I would willing to pay more if they increased the field of view to 120 & refresh rate to 120hz, whilst still keeping the same resolution.

They are asking WAY too much. I suspected around 600 which is way above the average budget. No one will own this thing they want too much for it.
