If they had a premium version with face and eye tracking then I’d be sold in a heartbeat. Though there is the DIY eye tracking and Vive FT.

Face and eye tracking is definitely not my thing. I don’t really want my face tracked by any company. Eye tracking might be okay but the more facial tracking and eye tracking us out there the closer we are to Minority report where we literally have to remove our eyeballs in order to get away from being tracked everywhere. I definitely don’t want advertising to follow me literally everywhere.

This is one of those situations where there’s less components in the device and they justify charging more because they printed TPU foam from a file you provided. HARD PASS and an obvious money grab. It honestly kind of pisses me off how blatantly overpriced this headset is.

Ok, kinda oof.
I reajust my IPD pretty often based on if I’m gonna do a lot of close up viewing or not, soooo no IPD ajustment might be a a slight issue.

The rest of it looks amazing tho. So much that it surely makes up for the lack of IPD

Automatic and constant IPD reasjustment would be great.

On the one hand, this seems extremely excellent that you dont need to worry about glasses or anything. But the custom means that if you have a family, none of them can use this headset. That is going to substantially limit is appeal to a lot of gamers with a family.

This is the future. They only thing holding me back from buying is that it requires bay stations and is wired. And at 1000 dollars you still need to purchase other accessories separately to even be able to use it.

I am a sim racer, this is exactly what I have been waiting for, yes I would need to get base stations and controllers, but to be able to race with something so light weight and comfortable, I think finally a company has made a headset that can seriously change the game for us…
