I’m so disappointed by every headset that’s ever been announced. They each have some huge drawback that’s preventing me from acheiving the perfect VR experience whether it’s price, comfort, features (lack thereof), or the company behind it.😩

It’s crazy how face and eye tracking is now the norm is $1000+ headsets! A few months ago it just wasn’t, Vr is booming!

Looking forward to the full review of this. On the face of it, this looks like a dream come true (sans eye tracking), and I want to buy one now. But I’m trying to be a savvy consumer and I’ll happily wait for a review to be sure this is where my money needs to go.

Side note: I am not a VR Dancer but this looks like a great dancing headset. Low weight and tiny profile will be great for all sorts of virtual reality acrobatics.

A really interesting “movie” focused headset. I hope it does well and maybe they will come out with an immersion focused one with a slightly wider pov and face/eye tracking.

Wow, this is insane! I think this would be an absolutely incredible vr productivity device, even more so if that fov could be improved. Any time I’ve tried working in a vr environment on my rift s, the headset comfort and the low resolution/fov have been sore points. With devices like this and the pico 4/future quest headsets, using a computer in vr is looking to be way better going forward, and I’m super excited!

Yup. I’m getting this. I’ve been waiting for something better than the index but still with laser tracking, and well, this is probably it.
Just gotta save up for a few more months and I can get it together with my first proper gaming pc.. but I can’t wait for the moment I have it on my face. Awesome!

The iphone face scan is a real turn off. If you don’t own or want to own an apple product this is a bit of an FU. I do spend 6 to 7 hours a day in VR so a less face hurty option is really welcome though.

love the idea, but for 1400€ without base stations or controllers its difficult to get behind, as even if you bought it as an upgrade, i imagine it would be difficult to resell an index without the base stations and controllers.
