I really dont have thisbproblem as i plug my wireless head set in the back. And my favorite head set so far is the RIG700. Its durable and it quite good on sounds.

This is a catch 22 with the wireless headsets. Another problem you can have, is if you leave the wireless headset transmitter in (even when you’re not using the headset), you lose the ability to have sound until you take the transmitter out. The PS5 is a poorly designed console, and has many flaws that were not thought out due to the design team’s lack of foresight. While I don’t own an XBox X, the design team with that console seemed to (from my view) think things out that gamers may experience. I have not bought the newer headsets, because I can still use my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 with my PS5, and I’ve had no issues whatsoever.

I got the turtle beach ones and they work good. Sometimes I get like a static noise. Never tried using front part

Maybe also try using an USB extension cable so you can have the dongle in the front someplace but still use the USB port in the rear

I use USB extender cable connected in the back of the PS5, and the other end hidden away from the console.
Looks neat and does the job 👍🏼

If you want to use the rear ports just buy a very short usb extension cable to move it away from the heat.
