I do not have the headset yet but my ethernet cable sometimes disconnects the internet, idk if it is because of the heat of the exhaust but I have never encountered disconnects like that on my ps4 pro considering the ps4 pro has a hotter exhaust. I think the downward design of the exhaust on the ps5 and the port location was not thought out properly

I knew this would be an issue, I use the Pulse 3d for both PC and PS5 and I have no choice but to plug it in the back of both and I knew the heat would prove to be a problem sooner or later. If I plug the dongle in the front of the PS5 or the top of the PC my cats could easily snap the thing either by playing with it or running into it.

Had ps5 with Pulse headset since release date. with USB plugged into back port. NEVER had an issue..

I was having this issue with my Wireless headset but I just always thought that the antenna was very cheaply made by Sony. I ended up buying a 3’foot USB extender cable and that solve my problem. Never thought about the Heat but then again my gaming room is set at 66 degrees when I’m gaming

Rear cooling fans will help. Than rear USB can still be useful with no overheat.

Good information. However, it isn’t necessary to use the USB dongle. You can use the pulse headset by connecting the audio jack cable directly to the dual sense controller. It works just the same. Problem solved.

I’ve been have problem with my pulse 3d headset and it constantly cuts out and crackles and my dongle has always been in the front. Now my PS5 CONTROLLER has been laggy as well and I have checked for other interference there isn’t any as far as I’m aware. The Ps5 is kind of a joke right now

It runs so hot the audio was cutting out. I started using it in the front and haven’t had an issue
