I have a lot of pets so pet hair and dust is a struggle with consoles but I found what fixed it was a cheap $5-$10 portable fan that aims at the back for air flow. Ever since this my ps’s have lasted longer before a clean is needed.

i dont have and i wont have this headset and i didnt imagine the console with bt and some much power need for dedicated gear to have a usb dangle …. wtf i have various of bt headphones and they dont neet to plus something in my phone or laptop … i didnt have to had reason for dont need it , thanks to you now i have one 🙂

I had this EXACT problem. I thought it was due to the dongle being behind the console (out of line of sight), so it moved it to the front port and it has been great ever since.

Possible solution: get a USB Male-female cable, use it to plug in the dongle into the back of ps5 and hide it

Umm then maybe you can help, i have the 20 dollar earbuds from walmart, somehow they connect without a dongle or anything, not sure why though
