Just a heads up, you can literally plug the Pulse 3D headset into the dualsense controller with a 3.5mm m/m jack and they work perfectly, the only thing you miss out on is the custom equalizer. 3D Audio and Surround work fine.

What to do if I lost my headset’s usb dongle. Can I find a replacement? Or do I have to but new heardset? I tried looking for A Inzone H7 dongle but couldn’t find anywhere. Any suggestions on what to do?

I plugged mine in the front of the PS5 the first time I set it up and had problems. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Does the ps4 headset dongle work with the ps5 headset? Can get used headsets for 30 bucks, if it works with my dongle I’ll get one. I haven’t upgraded mine yet and they are falling apart.

I had problems with interference from external hdd. I bought a USB extension, ran it to another shelf and plugged in my dongle. This will also help with the overheating problem and potentially breaking the dongle from it sticking out so far.

first of all… why plug it into the back at all? not only is the thing pointed away from you then and thus causing a possible directional issue, if you use them for more then one device like I and others do then it would be troublesome to have to reach behind it every time.

it would be better to use a bluetooth headset like Turtle Beach’s Stealth Force 700’s

I put mine In the front purely for my hard drives need usb 3.0 to work at it’s full capability and my ps5 is pointing away from the wall so it gets better airflow

This is not a crisis. Just get a USB extension pigtail or extension stalk. Some companies included the latter when their device was a bit wider than normal, so as not to block other ports.Using a little 6″ pigtail lifts your USB dongle further away from the vents, probably enough to keep it away from the hair dryer.

Watching this video I noticed that you mentioned that one of your favorite PlayStation 5 headset are the Sony Pulse headphones but I am not a big fan of the Sony Pulse headset personally and I’ve only used it a few times and there’s good reason for that. one I find the PlayStation pulse head phones to very uncomfortable because the self-adjusting headband dose not work good for my head and the headset just ends up sitting on my ears causing pain after about half an hour of use and two I’m a bit of an audio file so I find that the audio quality that I get from the PlayStation pulse headphones is not sufficient especially for the price.
