I lost my Pulse 3d headset dongle, can another dongle on Amazon work or do i have to find that exact dongle ? Or just buy a new headset ?

pro tip: instead of plugging it into the front, you can also use a USB extension and not have it stuck out the front like some kind of horn. it will pull it away from the exhaust and it won’t overheat

Sounds to me more like a wireless signal issue than anything else, as a rule of thumb, you want those RF transceivers to be in direct line of sight and in close range, as they usually don’t have good antennas (to save cost, space and have better aesthetic for the most part, people just don’t like an antenna sticking out, even though it’s still the most viable effective solution) and these devices usually have to operate in high RF noise environment (a lot of devices operating in the same frequency allocation) so the range is usually a lot more limited than people anticipated.

I’m using a 6tb external hard drive in the back USB port with no problems for 2 years now. I assume that my PS5 is just well ventilated but I’ll have to keep an eye out on the pulse dongle

I originally had issues with my Sony PS4 wireless headset. Plugged the dongle into the front and immediately had headset AND PS5 controller connection issues. Thinking it was due to the PS4 headset just being old I purchased this Pulse 3D and started having the same issues. Headset would randomly drop audio and controller would become non responsive. Given enough time both would eventually connect back up and start working again but it happens often enough that gaming becomes impossible. My kids broke the front USB port so I am using a USB-C to USB hub for connecting the dongle. The hub+dongle are out in the open with direct LOS to myself 9ft away but doesn’t seem to matter.

If you have kids/pets or are just paranoid about the dongle bring plugged in the front. You can still plug it in the back safely using a USB extension cable to keep it away from the vents. You can get one for $5 on Amazon

I noticed the PlayStation Platinum Wireless Headset kept cutting out while I placed the dongle it at the back. When I went to go touch it, I noticed it was way hotter than it has ever been. I used it at the front of the PS4 Previously. As mentioned in the video, the exhaust heat will cause the Dongle to get severely hot. After I tried switching to the front USB port, the issue seems to be resolved.

I encountered a problem with my pulse 3d
When i connect then via the usb everything is perfect but when i use the audio jack cable i hear only from the right .
If anyone can help it would be appreciated 🙂
