I honestly can’t believe this is even an issue, the PS5 really feels like it was rushed out given how many issues it seems to have.
The Xbox headset doesn’t need a USB dongle so I’m not sure why the Playstation headset needs one.

a better tip is to use a USB extension cable and connect it to the backside. No heat and you can hide the dongle.

Did he just really say wireless gaming headsets is a popular choice for serious gamers? I can’t tell if this guy is joking or not but he is dead wrong if you are a serious online gamer like me using a 3.5 mm headphone jack wired gaming headset is the preferred choice and it will provide you the ultimate audio experience this is why I am having the greatest time of my life with the turtle Beach stealth wired gaming headset and it has the number one feature that makes the 3D pulse or any other wireless gaming headsets absolute garbage I’m talking about you are able to hear your own voice to prevent myself from shouting or you can call it microphone monitoring and it’s becoming a problematic issue with the latest wireless gaming headsets they don’t provide the best audio experience wired audio will always be better than wireless audio case closed

Just went into the living room and saw my friends ps5 plugged in and noticed that dongle at the back and I didn’t know what it was
Not 2 minutes later I come upstairs, open my phone and this is in my recommended, I don’t even own a ps5, Google spying on me 👀

Just get yourself a USB extension cable for the dongle. Plug the male end in into the back and plug the transmitter into the female end. Doing this also eliminates the issue of having the transmitter sticking straight out of a board mounted USB port, Where I can easily be broken off.

Sony still have never made an exceptional machine. Poor WiFi hardware, lack of connections. Bluetooth should be direct to the console rather than relying on a dongle plug in. I’ve owned and used all the PS releases. After buying the PS5 I finally released its time to go PC and avoid constant disappointment 😂
