I never plugged it in the back why would you plug it in the back? Common sense which a lot of people don’t have you plug something wireless you want clear signal to you.

Haven’t had this issue with my PS5, but I personally like having those dongles in the rear of my PC and I was having connectivity issues with a wireless mouse and keyboard. The keyboard would drop inputs and such. Finally moved it to the front of the tower and haven’t had an issue since. It’s amazing what difference a little over a foot and unobstructed airspace can do.

Get something else but the Sony Pulse. The sound quality is very poor. I replaced it fairly quickly when compared to my other headsets for my other systems.

It’s also common to have external hdd’s or ssd’s plugged to the back, this interferes with the audio as it starts to cut off. I have a small hub on the front regular usb to which I plug the cables to charge controllers, gold headset and it’s dongle. You can’t plug storage units on hubs and actually only one at a time works, and only on the USB ports on the back and the usb c on the front.

I’ve got mine plugged into the back but it’s on a cooling fan so stays very cool. 🙂 No need to plug it in the front.
