I had this issue so just purchase a usb extension cable so i can still have it conneted to the rear ports

i wish they had just put at least 2 usb ports at the front, now you have to choose to either let your headset or your charging cable overheat unless you buy another accessory to add more slots

I got my ps 5 last week I love it it took like 1,5 years get one I drove over one hour there then over an hour home but it’s worth it also did get a Adventure

Just buy the steel series…. that’s what I have since ps5 launched…connects on the front using the small USB connection and the usb itself is perfect size.. you need to be an idiot to mess it up..and are great 👍..

Or a person could make sure the PS5 is put in a place with proper ventilation, so they won’t be buying a new one in a couple years.

From day one I put mine in the front for aesthetic reasons
My two charging cables connect in the back
Why would you want the charging cable sticking out the front?
Looks ugly
Wires go in the back

Never had any problems
But honestly only had the white pulse til the blk dropped
So no problems here

I used the back port for a bit, but the problem I got was cutouts from interference from my TV remote and signal loss from being at the back with the PS5 in front… I moved it to the front port and it’s been fine… I also tried using a USB extension and had it on the side, but that didn’t work as well as the front port…

Can you not sync up Bluetooth headphones to the ps5? I had Bluetooth headphones with my PS3 and worked fine, no extra dongle needed.

This is why the Turtle beach px5 is the best for consoles, it was optical and you didn’t need a wireless dongle, the sound quality is perfect, I customized my own sound setup which was beyond perfection, now I lost that with the new consoles, and all this new Atmos stuff isn’t that much of an upgrade the human ear can’t hear that much to make a significant difference when you have 5.1 or 7.1 dolby digital surround system. Sony and Microsoft are idiots for taking out the optical port.

I’ve had this issue where I had it plugged in the back and the dongle overheated and started getting choppy and one time disconnected all together. I’ve then switched to the front USB port and it solved the issue. When I needed to charge my PS5 controller though, I needed the front USB to plug the controller into while playing since the cable wasn’t long enough to run to the back of the PS5. I then changed the dongle to use the USB port on the left if you are looking at the PS5 from the back. This seemed to solve the issue and I have been running my PS5 for about 5 months now with the dongle in the back with absolutely no issues with overheating. I read somewhere that a recent PS5 software update made the system run cooler and I’m not sure if that has something to do with it.
