After using the platinum set for my ps4 (and not owning a ps5 yet) I decided whenever I do finally get my hands on a ps5 that I’d go for something like the steelseries wireless that operates over Bluetooth instead. Why they decided to require a stupid dongle instead of just making them Bluetooth is beyond me.

Yeah my Pulse started experiencing audio cutout recently. Back of my PS5 was really warm and so was the dongle. Moved it to the front and had no problems.

Done this since day one. Pulse receiver in front, usb c charging cable (for headset and/or controller) in back along with external ssd for ps4 game storage.

I actually can’t use the dongle at all, I bumped it and it bent the dongle, and the usb port no longer works in the front. I highly recommend putting the dongle in the back to use it.

And it also affects the Ethernet connection, the lan cable overheats too, it happend to me, so i unplugged the usb dongle, and it stopped

USB 3.0 Extension Cable then plug into the back and plug the dongle into it. You should be able to drape around the front of the system.

The heat factor didn’t occur to me and may be a reason why my external ssd has been disconnecting every 30s. I have to check because this is the second time it’s happened to the same type ssd

I always have had issues with all Sony headset by plugging it into the back. I usually just plug it into either the front, or a USB extender

Brooooooooo . I’m a genuine . I have the razor wireless headset and I put the dongle on the back cause I didn’t want to bump sticking out the front . But then my friend after months later told me I sounded muffled and laggy. Then I switch to the front and it works better .
