I use to have my dongle in the back and my pulse use to go in and out. When I figured that might be the problem and moved it to the front. It was super hot. I learned my lesson.
Plug mine in the back, never had any problems. My console is mounted up on the wall so it gets plenty of airflow in the back. If you decide to get a wall mount make sure it’s designed to have a good amount of space between the wall and console.
Isn’t there any bluetooth headphones which are supported directly by the PS5 without needing an extra dongle?
Good video, now mention in the title that this is about wireless headphone users, not “every user”.
Duh….
Hello I’m not sure you’re reading my message but of you are how do I make it where I can record a video and get rid of my friends voice but not be in a party chat
I had this problem since ps5 launch, and I moved it to the front with no problems after a month of use.
The blue plastic fused to my usb charger and when I unplugged it it came off
Gg
Thank you mister GlassCock
One issue I have experienced is the headphones audio cutting in and out during gameplay. I realized the issue was having my external hardrive connected next to the headphones dongle. Other than, the dongle works fine for me in the back of the console.
Do usb extension cables introduce audio latency?
Great tip. I like some others in the comments automatically used the front slot because of the heat in the back. Seemed like easy logic at the time. Glad it made sense for so many by default.
Think my son just had the disconnect with our Pulse 3D headset I will be plugging into the front from now on had good luck when we plugged it in the front then switch to the back so it wouldn’t get hit. But ill just make sure it don’t get bumped.
I use the USB on the back and also had concerns about the heat.
But I’m more concerned that I’ll accidentally break the dongle on the front.
I’m a bit paranoid😅
Heya, do you have telegram? I have a question for you regarding the astro 820s but I don’t want to ask it on YouTube…
I don’t know how to fix my headset usb I put it at the front but it still doesn’t work
ARCTIC Breeze Mobile is usb fan that is cool gadget to cool the dongle or just help ventilate ps5 surroundings
Put it in the front, the audio is SO MUCH BETTER!!!
I never really liked the console design that blasts all the heat onto the cords, ports, and anything plugged into them. I like the Xbox design of pumping the heat out of the top. It avoids these issues.
