I first also plugged it in the back but especially with some headsets that struggle with the wireless connection like the Sennheiser Epos GSP670, the Corsair Virtuoso RGB XT and a few others they drop constantly the signal. So I switched to the front. It’s gotten better but still those are having problems. Then I bought the Razer Kaira Pro and they come with a USB C dongle so it is plugged into the front anyways and they have 0 issues with dropping the signal. I can literally walk around anywhere inside my house and no issues. I even went as far as going outside and up to the sidewalk and they still didn’t cut out. But yes its definitely better to plug a headset Into the front rather than into the back of the PS5.
Or just get an extension cable
Considering my flash drive, and external storage are in the back. I’ve got an extension cable with usb for charging in the front for longer gaming sessions. I never considered this problem. Still rocking my OG wired hyper x clouds from 2018.
99 percent of tech problems:”HEAT”
So stupid could be fixed by maybe just allowing it to connect via Bluetooth and forgo the dongle all together we live in 2022 how is this an issue for a premium game system
I have a PS5 stand that has extra USB ports on the front, which is what I usually use for the Dongle, and it works just fine.
Console by lidl……
I use a USB A to Type C adapter for my dongo.
lol i never used the back. The back is relegated to charging the dualsense and the pulse3d. I assumed the front was always meant for the dongle due to it being usb2.0. Otherwise its a useless port due to it being too slow for charging, for external ssd/hdd. So yeah i always figured it was for the dongle.
I have a A20
The weird things is we cant use internal bluetooth for wireless audio
Why???
My pulse 3d issue at first is not turning off even and suddenly it run out of battery until now I cant charge my pulse 3d
Dude. It was you that recommended plugging into the back in the first place. I can remember last year when you posted the video
I have a USB C to type A converter and plug the dongle into that so the USB Type A socket on the front of the PS5 is completely free. It extends out more but atleast i still have the extra port if needed and it really doesnt make much of a difference in terms of how far it sticks out. No issues with audio or connectivity either
I have had this issue with my Sony Platinum’s on my ps4 and ps5. it randomly cuts in and out. I found when the dongle is hot it dramatically reduces signal strength To combat this I use a USB extension and move the dongle away from the console and it works in most cases.
I watched your video and I think with all the heat that the ps5 give it might cause your dongle to get warm and not work properly but what if you have a usb 3.0 cable extender and you plug it at the back of the ps5 and you move the other part of the extender to the front so you can use the female usb 3.0 of the extender with the dongle will that be batter? its just a thought I had so your dongle don’t get damage in the front cause its so long.
I thought that would of been common sense😂
Or just get a USB extender and you can dangle your dongle anywhere you want.
Just plug it in front, ez no problem anymore
I had it the back but it got too hot and started cutting out so I swapped to the front
