*le me who never used any console in his entire life
Informative video. I have encountered interference issues in relation to external hard drives in neighbouring USB ports previously. Research has shown the 2.4hz signals can be interrupted by USB ports. My fix for this was to buy a short USB extension cable, plug the dongle into that and your interruptions should stop. Thought I’d just share this for anyone encountering similar issues.
Yeah, my Pulse would cut out randomly when it was plugged into the rear USB ports. Works perfectly in the front USB.
I lost my dongle 🙁
What to do if my dongle get broken
Thanks. I had the some problem
You can also buy a USB extension cable and tuck the dongle where heat is not a problem…
Have usb hole and i cant connect hahaha omg people are crazy
I’ve been having noises that sound like somebody smothering their mic in a t shirt or something
Its wireless, why wouldn’t you have it in the front to reduce interference??. Also, this should wake ppl up to these type of devices: keep them away from heat, because they basically shutdown when too hot. I think we all figure it would be no problem since none of them seem to be designed to exhaust any heat. Well, now you can consider better purchases since summer is here (unless you got good air conditioning – cooling).
When I got mine, I plugged mine in the front due to the fact that if I didn’t then I would have a wire there for like the hdd for example on front and I don’t like the look of that lol so it looks better in the front and everything else in the back
I killed a music mp3 usb it effectively melted it won’t read now. who ever design the ps5 was clearly smoking crack 🤣
PS5 also overheating the HDMI in the same way damages cable warped and melted.
one more reason for me to not buy a wireless headset. 1st reason is i don’t want to have to charge a headset
I have mine in the front, the back is for my camera and SSD for PS4 games
It’s unfortunate that there’s only one USB port, but I manage.
I’ve always used the front socket and my alienware 988 headphones dongle is only about 10mm long so very sturdy and doesn’t protrude too far
or just get a USB Extension cable
Never ever thought about plugging it anywhere else but the front 🤷🏻♂️
I got my PS5 in 2020 and I used two HS with it: The Pulse 3D and Steelseries Arctis 1. Since then until today I had no probs with them no matter where I put the dongle in.
