I’ve been plugging it in the front since I got my ps5 I have my ps5 hidden cause my son likes to try to shove stuff in the disk drive but I have plenty of room for good airflow lol thanks for the video

I always put it in the back of my PS5 and on top of my pc where it is most of the time good thing with having loads of usb ports

I did notice connectivity issues, and it was super hot when I removed it. It sits in the front port now

I only have 2 usable ports, 1 front and 1 back, the top one had the plastic break, so I have to plug into the front anyway.

I use it in the back. Not had any issues since launch. After you turn on the console from rest mode if the head set was charging then it might have trouble detecting the dongle but all you need to do it’s turn the head set off and then on again and it’s back in business and you can start gaming in no time.

Really hate how the ps5 heats up at the back exhaust side and also how some games (horizon forbidden west, Elden ring, returnal) clearly cause the console to heat up so much and even make a weird noise.

My solution was adding a USB extension cord to the rear port then mounting that to my entertainment center. Plugging my headphone dongle to that no problem so far

This is true.I’ve been plugging my headset usb to the front since I bought the console and ,sometimes the usb disconnects, i was wondering why but ,thanks you saved me

This is why I don’t wear wireless headphones. Ever since I got the Astro A40s on PS3 and always getting the current new one. I never have problems.

I have the JBL Quantum 800 headset and plugged it in at the back of the PS5 for 2 years now, so far it works like a charm

You could also buy a short female usb adapter cord a few inches long to prevent damage and exhaust heat

I have an issue when you have the pulse heaset on and if you have an external hdd plugged in it interferes with the audio every few minutes

Woooow after a 1 year, yesterday only I switch USB port from front to backside as I was facing low audio volume even its on max and today video popup saying the opposite 😛
