Razer makes a PS5 headset where the dongle plugs into the front USB type-c port and is offset so that it doesn’t obstruct any of the other USB ports.

also getting a USB Extension so it can sit at the front of your TV is the best thing todo, I have a Microcenter near me in Kansas and i can get a good USB Extension for less than 10 bucks! My Series X, PS5, Switch And X700V2 Sony BluRay player sit behind my TV due to space at the front but have plenty of ventilation.

I still would love to know why both the PS5 and the Xbox series don’t support audio over bluetooth? The PS3 supported it just fine.

Yes pluging it in the back does cause problems because of heat. Happened to me, & now i only plug it in the front

The front usb A port is slower and provides less power than the front usb c and 2 back usb A. This is why it cuts out sometimes for people in the front

I have a problem with getting my amp and dac working on the back usb of the system so I had to plug it into the front. for some stupid reason they don’t connect using the back usb ports.

Very true my audio was cutting off and on. So i checked my usb and man that shit was super hot. Switched it to the front and all is good but wow what bad design or placement

I’ve always plugged the usb at front just because it looks cool and no wires at the front. But good to have you reminding about it!

good point. Issues become more evident when an external drive is connected on the back with the headset dongle next to ir. Audio quality degrades significantly.

It’s pretty interesting but wouldn’t the PlayStation 5 have a Bluetooth setup why wouldn’t you just go out and get a Bluetooth headphone setup
