I never have overheating with any console. I have a 3″ desk fan that I turn in to keep my console cool any time I play.

Just get a usb
wire extension to utilize the usb 3.0 from the back and set it next to the ps5 away from the heat . Simple !

Thanks for the tips, I always had my usb on the back and sometimes had issues connecting to the headset. So I just end up using the wired that came with it, but will try to put the usb on the front now.

I rarely use the back USB’s even when my ps5 is in a well ventilated area. The heat is just seem a lot to me I I don’t put anything there. I always use the front

then again if the dongle is overheating just take it as a warning that your ps5 needs a little more space behind it so the heat coming out of the ps5 is getting pushed away from the ps5 .

Thanks for the tip but my pulse headset dongle usb bent I just wish there was some other way I could connect it wirelessly or PlayStation make extra dongles for sale if you have and information for me please comment

I’ve had mine on the back and I’ve never had any issues. But I’ve had problems plugging it in into the second from the top USB port, but the top one works good

Mine is in front but the audio has been terrible lately. Although if I connect the headset to the controller I get flawless sound

Hey specifically about the headphones there seems to be weird issues with using it on a computer. My laptop for example when using the official Sony Pulse headphones either doesn’t have any sound, or won’t work as a mic in game most of the time.

Not sure what’s causing the problem but I’ve had to unable it and reenable it manually from my audio panel.

I got my Pulse 3D headset since before I even got my PS5, never had any issues until 3 days ago. I turned on the headset and it didn’t connect for some reason. I just turned it off and on again and it connected like usual.

I cant plug in the dongle that come with my Steelseries Artic 7P & charging the controller at the same time because the ports on the front are so close to each other. Stupid design by Sony.

I have the pulse 3D headset and plugged it in at the back of the PS5 before and had the problems you mentioned. Luckily I came to my senses and plugged it in at the front and had no problems since. This video is a must watch for so many PS5 users.
